Dead Good Wood (DGW) is proudly owned and run by Liam, a fully qualified, time-served plumber and bathroom fitter with over 15 years of experience in his trade. 

In 2018, Liam founded DGW as a small side project alongside his plumbing business, initially operating from a workshop in his back garden.

During the uncertainty of the 2020 pandemic, he made the decision to fully dedicate his time and energy to his lifelong passion for woodworking and grow the business.

Since then, DGW has continued to expand—now three workshops on, the journey continues to evolve.

From a young age, Liam enjoyed creating handmade wooden pieces such as boxes and stools, some of which are still treasured in the family home today.

What began as a hobby has grown into a dedicated craft, combining traditional skills with a keen eye for detail.

DGW is built on passion, pride, and craftsmanship. Every piece is carefully designed and handcrafted, with time, dedication, and attention to detail invested throughout the process.
